Mooky if you want to go visit an OIBUA village then Copehill Down is the way ahead. The BOATs that run right past it are great fun (it's where we started off last Sat) and you can see most of the village. You won't be able to access it tho.

The whole of the western part of the plain is closed to civilian vehicles.
There are no legal rights of way through it.

Ah. Shame I missed this reply. Yeah we came to the same conclusion.
There is a byway into that area - near Chitterne - but goes bugger-all into it.
Apparently its closed except for a couple of weeks per year... (and boxing day or some such)

Ah Balls. Looks like we took the wrong one outa Chitterne .... oh well. Next time. :)
