Huh? Are you sure? My 09 GSA (Australian) had a catalytic converter... and I removed it using the same method Bluebird described here.
I connected the lambda sensors back up.
I have now done 35 thousand miles with this set up and it runs spot on,
my bike has 55k on it now and is as strong as ever
I say do it,costs nowt looks standard,pulls better,no flat spot,spund great without being anti social

Good to hear that you didnt go down the normal tosser route of wasting money when you can easily cut the cat out, I did exactly the same a while ago as you can see by by my link.

I find it rides much smoother now without the cat and of course for a fraction of the cost.
Glad to hear that someone else isnt afraid to take on the nasayers.

Does the ECU 'learn' that the cat is gone and adapt the engine map to it? That is the case with my Subaru but not my last bike.
