Anyone fancy making one? I'd certainly buy it - something along the lines of Les' shelf for the 1200.

I know they can be hidden behind the dash board etc, but I'd prefer a shelf.

Right I've done some measuring so just need a alu plate made up to the shape and dimensions in the drawing. The other two photos are along the lines of what I'm after. The red line in the drawing is where the front tab needs to be bent/angled as it's going to be attached to the bolts holding the 1150 ADV beak in place, but I can do that myself.

I'm hoping 2mm or 3mm alu should be strong enough to hold 6 ballasts.

Dimensions are (in case it's hard to see in the photo):

A: 130mm (front tab will be bolted using the ADV extended beak bolts)
B: 50mm
C: 10mm
D: 310mm
E: 40mm
F: 270mm (bottom width - this will be bolted to where light bars are typically bolted)
G: 20mm (height from bottom edge to top of curved edge)

Total height is B + D = 360mm.

Not sure how much interest there is in them, but I bet you could sell a few. Takes a lot of pain out of mounting ballasts (IMO).

Hopefully the cables should be long enough to reach the main lights.

Just seen this... I would be interested in one!
