dirt boots

me: the fat guy on the gs.(how the hell did he get that thing up here!) you: the dirt boot expert the problem: simply put, fat legs. shoe size 12 to 13 depending on maker. ankle circumfrence 14 inches calf circumfrence 22 inches. my much modified msr's are about shot.(7 years, 3 sets of soles) iwant something that works right out of the box. waterproof would be nice. oh yeah, whats this i hear about a 70 liter tank?

at 6'6" & size 14 (UK) boots, I've found Daytona GTX's to be the dog's bits. They're expensive (about £215 in UK), but are very comfortable, have adjustable leg width for those of us who are not equipped with thin legs and, in 50,000 miles haven't let in a drop.

Mine are away having a re-furbish at Daytona (after 3 years) at a cost of about £50. Size 49 fits me, they go up to size 51 & also make a slightly 'enduro' style.
