I've had an email from the Celeidh Place wanting numbers (if poss) for dinner bookings for both Friday and Saturday nights. They can get busy so booking is advisable for individaul and/or group bookings.

If anyone wants a definite booking (with a set time), can they let me know (or alternativley contact the hotel directly and book themselves) :beerjug:

I realise that some folk (me for one) will want to play it by ear when they're in Ullapool so if that's the case, you might not get a table at the hotel.

Are there alternative suppliers of haute cuisine of a more exotic nature? :augie

Aye Mr Whatton there are many purveyors of deep fried culinary delights in the area:thumb2

Curry house at the entrance to the campsite:drool

Best chipper in the area (!) :drool

And the pubs sell crisps so we'll no starve.

To maintain the correct Tosser profile I will probably have a proper dinner at the hotel with a flagon of vin rouge to accompany it.

Which of the intelligent, sophisticated, educated attendees think that this is a good idea?

I need a few people with the above properties to raise the standards at whatever table I'm on :)

I'll join you, how about the Saturday night?

Going on Klanky's ride out during the day and this would be a great way
to round it off.

Otherwise Friday night would be fine. Should get in mid/late afternoon.

By the way, I'm not sure that I meet all the criteria.

I'll probably be drinking white wine.............

Bloody jet jockeys.

They never read feckall, they just assume they know everything.
.........You're not ex-Fleet Air Arm by any chance?:D You're more than welcome anyway.

Regarding dining arrangements, I have reserved a nice ditch for the evening.

Good man, start with a bottle of each then.

I am overnighting in Edinburgh on the way up. Going up the East Coast as I have never been that way before. Plus I want to see the Angel of the North.

Should roll in to Ullapool mid afternoon on the Friday, so do you fancy the Friday night or Saturday night ?

Hope they have Chablis in Ullapool, would'nt want to lower standards.:augie

Why limit ourselves to one decent meal?

More of a Rioja man myself, but Chat Pap would do:toungincheek
