    Campsite prices

I have booked places (where necessary) for approx 12 tents at the following sites:-

Mainz – choice of site to be confirmed by campers

    Mittenwald – Camping Isarhorn 11/07/09

Per person 5.50€ + one place for 2 tents 7.50€
    Shower 0.50€

Trieste – Camping village Marepineta 12/07/09

Awaiting a reply to my e-mail. (They want to charge us for 12 pitches but 6 cost enough!)

    6 x pitch C for 2 persons @ 29€ = 174€
    6 x extra motorcycle @ 7€ = 42€
    6 x 2nd tent per pitch @ 6€ = 36€
    Total = 252€ /12 = 21€

    Split – Camping Stobrec 13 & 14/07/09

    Per person 5.30€
    Residence tax 0.70€
    Per Tent 5.10€
    Per motorcycle 2.95€
    Total 14.05€ each per night

    Zagreb – Motel Plitvice 15/07/09

    Per person 8.00€
    Per Tent 3.50€
    Per motorcycle 2.20€
    Total 13.70€ each

    Vienna – Campingwein 16/07/09

    Tent pitch with vehicle 6.50€
    Per adult 7.20€
    Total 13.70€ less 10% group discount = 12.33€

    Prague – Caravan Camping 17/07/09

    Per person 105 CZK
    Tax 15CZK
    Per Tent 100CZK
    Per motorcycle 60 CZK
    Total 280CZK = 10.5€ approx per person

    Colditz – www.campingplatz-colditz.de 18/07/09

    Tent 2.50€
    Motorbike 2.50€

The Mare Pineta site in Trieste still seem to be insisting on charging us a total of 385€ for one nights camping.(14 x 27.5€ each)
So I have taken the liberty of booking here http://www.piandelgrisa.it/default.asp?sec=1 instead.
It is nearer to the centre of Trieste, a lot cheaper, and they have been helpful.
Stevo, Hayley, Charlie and Ruth are staying in the centre of Trieste so a meet up will be easier.
    Hope this change is OK.

That site works for me, thanks for sorting it out David.

With the discussion about carrying golfclubs in a bike on the 1200GS section, I'm glad to see there is a course nearby :-)
