Now this is what I call living it to the full, hope you have a great trip and like others, looking forward to the regular ride report...

Doing it at 60, I couldn't do it at 40

    Be safe.....

Cheers Deeley ... if it's of any help we couldn't have done it at 40 neither

    1) We didn't know each other back then
    2) In any case my wife wouldn't have approved
    3) I had a wife, career and mortgage

Busy week... fitted the Wilbers suspension unit and front fork springs. What a revelation The standard suspension was very good, but we're now in magic carpet territory

Sue and misen went to Bradford today, Pakistan Embassy, warm welcome and good craic with total strangers, staff helpful and smiling, four hours and we come away with our Visa's

    Six weeks to kick off

If not, I may have an idea for you

If you have though, make sure you post it up so we can all follow you from our armchairs

    Bugger.

We will be in Yorkshire at the 3Peaks Pishup the weekend before. It would have been good to have had a glass or three with you Micky.

All the best to the both of you on your trip.
There are two opinions of the GS. There are those who have ridden one who think its fantastic and there are those who haven't who know its crap.

Well don't let that stop you Aidan

Extend your trip a day/night, either before or after the Peaksh Pishup and come for a bier anyway, you'll not be far away, and you'll be most welcome

    Sorted

Bill... I'll be sending updates and piccies, whenever possible, back to my brother on Fairisle, who will update the website/blog on www.adventure.gs

I was just gonna post updates and piccies on here also, whenever possible... any better way of doing it 'Oh Wise One'

    Cheers folks

Just got the passports back, stamped up with the Iranian visas, so Plan A is up and running

Despite all the alleged troubles in Tehran, the Embassy has seen fit to issue us with fifteen day visas, these can be easily extended once over there at any police station

We know of other applicants that have been refused, so it must be down to the perserverance and efficiency of my secretary Gracie

Good luck and may the road rise with you.
