    Never tell God your plans

The Geriatrics will not be off again on 1 August as planned.

Regret that it's me that has been a pain in the derierre; after so much planning plotting and scheming, the work Micky has put in, getting the bikes ready it's a chance appointment at the doctors for something quite obscure that has ruined all our plans.

After a consultation with a specialist, today I have to start a series of scans and tests that necessitates we cancel for the foreseeable future.

It has been quite a day - I saw HRH Oonyack riding my Serow away, (and by the way - he is a lovely lad, not at all the fat balding guy I thought ) it's the eve of my 60th birthday and I see the dream trip disappearing out the window.
Give us both a hug somebody we are just a bit down

    Try and stay positive.
Good luck with the test thingies.
BTW, you’re wrong about yon HRH bloke, he is a wee bald tubby bad tempered twat.

    Makes a decent brew though.

Bad news for the both of you......don't let it be the end of anything though, it's still all there to take

Gracie....good luck with whatever it is....*leans over fence in Les Dawson/Roy Barraclough stylee and grimaces whilst hoiking up chest*

Sometimes things just happen.....it's what you make of them that counts (which you both know all too well already )

    Keep smiling, it'll be fine

Amongst the many names I have for Gracie is 'Thornikuss Insidikuss', used most endearingly and with mucho luvo... but not without reason

It's just a hiccup folks, a mere 'burp' in the eternal plan of things. We have a 'window' of maybe three weeks where the visa's and carnets hold good, so if we get dealt three three's this next week then the first you'll know about it is a post to say were on the Continent and heading east

Thanks folks... you're what makes this place special

    Thanks Gracie, you're special too
