    Pics from the raost

Arrived early on Friday and was told we were the first to arrive (again)
Sheps tipi was already in attendance, as Obletone set up his contraption.......
We set up our base for the weekend and headed off in search of doughnuts.....

We then spent a relaxed Friday afternoon walking round the site meeting tossers and consuming Magners on ice.....

Elvis was in the building for his evening show.... (it was good, although, I can't help feeling he sounded more like The King last year)

We woke up Sat morning and went for a stroll around the site.....
Had a good look at Sheps new steed.....

    and Wreford Miles

Saw Captain GSA's old X-challenge, now owned by Pinkytiff..

    Race to Dakar colours.....

Got a great shot of Dave (Pinkytiff) as he rode off for the offroad ride out...

Met up with Proff for a chat...

There were other pics of Proff in other NWS poses but Erika wants these only for her private viewing.....
We then decided to head off in search of a pub for lunch.....

Once back we decided it was time to chill before the evening festivities took place.....

After our R&R session we headed over to the dirtiest bike comp where I had the honor of meeting Mr and Mrs Jones (Motorheads parents). It was good to have a chat with them and get some understanding of actually what happenned on the day back in March. It was Ben that brought me to my first Hograost last year and I really miss that guy......

    More to follow later.....

    The rest

The contenders for the muddiest bike in memory of Ben

We thought that Skygod's HP2 would have won

If Pinkytiff would have made it back in time he would have been a contender...

    The winner...

We then chilled out for a while whilst we waited for the Pig to arrive...

Gazzabart and Ruth arrived for the evenings festivities..

I went off for a shower and found that Proff had grabbed me girl when I returned.....

The Swine arrived and the food started to smell good

The band started and the evening began...

The raffle was called and Shep won the 1st prize that I was sure was mine.....

A few of us warmed ourselves by the fire...

We then headed over to the marquee for a bit of jumping around.....

All in all a great weekend was had by everyone. Many thanks to Steve and the family for putting in all the effort and hard work to produce yet another fantastic event

    Roll on 2010.......
