Who won Bens trophy and was it a deserved win?

I went out friday and it was tough to get muddy, I'm assuming that justice was done looking at Wrefords muddying up technique :D:D:D

Shame the big guy wasn't there in person, but I'm sure he was looking down on the proceedings, and pissin' himself watchin all you lot trying to get as filthy as possible.

A fitting tribute if ever there was one :thumb

It was a very close run thing between Sid's KTM and Skygods HP2
Sid got it by a whisker. 30 minutes after judging [ which was delayed by 30 mins in case they could get back in time]the Wreford lot came back with Horses 1200 GSA that would have made the decision even harder

Having seen both Gaz and Sid ride, I'm not suprised that they were in the front runners :D

Sounds like a fun competition, shame I wasn't there, I'm pretty good at attracting filth :augie:augie:augie

Gaz must've been taking it easy, the exhaust, handlebars and wheels are still attached to the bike :D:D:D

Nice work guys, I guess Bens parents were proud him and the influence he had on others. They probably had a giggle judging the competition too :thumb

I'll be there next year and that trophy's mine :green gri:thumb

And this is how they did it....

Here are a few photos from the "Intermediate" rideout lead by Paul, he knows the Plain like the back of his hand!

Sid was determined the Dirtiest Bike award was going to be his from an early stage:

It didn't take long for Skygod to join in being the competitive type.....

And here's the group surveying the tank graveyard. Didn't realise we had sooo many tank enthusiasts!

Fantastic rideout led by Paul, and a brilliant weekend! Thanks to Bakerman and his Dayglo Slaves. :thumb

As you can see from the one below before he'd been stuck in the bombhole, Horse1200 would definitely have made the decision harder!

!

Ben`s Mum and Dad wished me to carry over for extra 30 mins to get you guys into the field of play . Next year, will START to Judge at 4.30 giving that extra 30 mins for a GROUP return not single person return, 5.00pm final.

Make it later not earlier - We want to enjoy a full days riding:rob

And ahving watched Horse commit to the task off getting his GSA into a right old state maybe the competition should be for Boxers

Well i dont mind not winning, and not being back in time, but hey we had a absolute riot playing in the mud, well i did anyway. It has taken 2 hours today to clean my beast off, and i know Ben was watching down and would have approved of all the efforts.:thumb2

Thats cheating, spraying each other with mud.:nono

At least my dirty 1200 was 'genuinely mucky' after a steady afternoons riding on the plains.

Just washed it after work, the driveway is a funny chalky colour now.:D

That was only Wreford cheating i will have you know :rob. MINE WAS COMPLETELY MY OWN DOING :green gri. THE REST OF THE GROUP WILL BACK THIS UP. :thumb2

100% matey:thumb

The idea of the competition is not the winning but the taking part. You and many others entered in the true spirit of having a blast and getting minging dirty, something which Ben would approve of whole heartedly and a fitting way of keeping his memory alive.

Top job horse, you know he's laughing his head off, probably more so because you missed the deadline :D:D:D:D:clap:clap:clap:clap

HAHAHAHA, you damn right Flipfly. Ben would have been exactly the same if he had to be back for a deadline, its all about the mud & fun you know.:D

have editted a high speed run video from my go pro camera, but having a few issues uploading :blast. Any ideas any one :nenau
