I see drink on the tables so that vicious rumour from Sir James of there being no drink was untrue then

    ...and a few more....

Some corner of a foreign field which is forever Geordie....

    Spot the pecking order?

    Moderator has biggest tent

    Lovely weather and cracking view.

    Woody and Pog:

    Usual suspects.

    Talking 1150s....

    Quack!

    Old friends....

Mort's sleeping bag (front of picture)

Stalag 17 and the escape committee...

    Is that the time?

    A strange man approaches....

    Food is sacrificed:

    The escape committee continues planning...

Den joins the NE section BBQ for a "smoke".....

Th bar opens - There is something afoot!!

    Hello? Get's a G&T while you're at the bar?

    Brassmonkey

...and apparently it was time for bee-boes....

    Saturday was hectic:

    Ugg and Digger:

Mad Mountain Man and Terry (I think?)

    Saturday evening:

.....and after a night and evening complimented by pouring rain, which continued on and off even whilst packing-up.

Mort departs with 1 less sleeping bag and one more tent...

Thanks again to Jez and Pog and everyone who attended.

Absolutely brill, thanks Colin (and to Mort and Jez)

Chris (phooey) has posted our thanks already but had to add, lovely coincidence to be able to chat at dinner. Have the route in the GPS, can't wait to follow him and ride it for myself once I'm back on. Will be picturing it every moment with the physio! As I said, thanks for a really good day
