advice for Brecon Beacons NP

hello guys,

looking for a place in Brecon Beacons NP.for one night on coming weekend.

i am going on my GS that's why looking for a place to stay and park my bike safely.

something inside the park,river side but good place for one night.not like city.

long time not out from london.just need rest in forest.

Just outside the actual park but in beautiful rolling countryside in the River Monnow Valley. The pub overlooks the river and Skenfrith Castle. Not cheap but has won several awards for their food. http://www.skenfrith.co.uk/

In the middle of the Brecon Beacons park, alongside the River Usk is the lovely village of Talybont on Usk. Choice of pubs which are near the river or the Brecon & Monmouth canal

The Usk inn or Travellers Rest are probably the pick of the bunch.

agree the Bell and Skerith is awesome - excellent food but I suspect booked out.


Slightly(only) cheaper but also excellent is www.eatdrinksleep.ltd.uk - the Felin Fach down the hill from Brecon towards Hereford. May well also be booked for a weekend.

good food, right by A470 and probably large enough to still have free rooms. You can almost walk to Pen Y Fan from there.
