Fecking garmin cable!

Can someone please help me, sorry of this is in the wrong section, couldnt find best bit to put it in in the gps section,

ive just bought a garmin gps v deluxe of a mate for £40 but it has no cable to connect to the laptop, bought a cable off tinternet and doesnt fit,

anyone know where i can get a usb cable for it?

any help will be awesome,

I will have a check at home - I did have a spare one at one point, but I don't remember seeing it for ages, so it may have gone.
