We arrived safely in South Africa a little over a week ago having had a wonderful time in Namibia.

Just wanted to share a few piccy's with you. Africa is stunning, diverse, scary and exciting.

Hope you enjoy...ride safe & take care.

Cheers

Motorcycle Sport and Leisure

Nice piece in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure.

Best Regards Charlie x

thanks guys

Thanks for the kind words Yosi, you were always pretty smooth:D

Charly, good to hear from you, so how are things in your neck of the woods?

That 'bloody' article in Motorcycle Sport & Leisure was pretty tricky to write, as they wanted a piece of no more thatn 2,500 words. The hard part isn't working out what to put into the piece, but decideing what to leave out. Glad you liked it, hopoefully if it's well recieved they print the next installment in early 2005?

We're going to be in South Africa untill March 2005, getting the bikes and ourselves sorted before strating the next leg of our trip, South America and Antartica. As far as we know, no team or women had ridden in Antartrica, seems like a pretty good reason to give it a try:D We're currently speaking to two ships who sail to antartica,so who knows.

We're not realy looking forward to being in one place for so long, but at least we'll have regular internet acces,so can pay a few more visits to the GS Club site, which is looking bigger and better each time we log on.

Here's a quick piccie of us 4 weeks ago, when at last we reached the most southerly point in Africa. We were excited but knackered.

Cheers

At least you'll have time to get a haircut!! :D

Great pictures keep them comming.

Met an old friend today and were discussing a possible return to Antarctica next year for a film. He mentioned someone had either tried or succeded in motorcycling to the S Pole!! (Nutter)

Also, I do know that a woman called Benka Pulko took her bike to the NW area of the Antarctic Peninsular, but that probably wouldn't have been below the Antarctic circle.

Good luck Tim

Great to hear you're both enjoying it so much. Take care out there and best of luck on your voyage of discovery.
Oh and Santa's got a pair of hair straighteners with your name on then Simon!

Have you forgotten that Lisa doesn't like her toes getting cold

Which probably explains why one minute you're in Casablanca, then Merzouga, then into Mauritania. Pity they didn't want to run more words.

Good luck with your travels, much envy!

Tim
