Well, in exactly 4 weeks from today I'll be setting off from home to Raasay :eek

Just had a clear out and found these low res scans of the visit the team made in August (Skye Soiree), nothing special but a timely reminder of what awaits us all in 4 weeks time :)

In no particular order..................

Nice one Andres. I do like the moody qualities of black and white :thumb2

Nice fotos, hope we can make it up to see you all off.

Really nice pics Andres. It would be nice to pop over and see you all off, I should be off work so may try and make it:thumb

That would be really cool :)

We are all spending the night of the 7th of Jan on Raasay (at the hotel there) and setting off on the 10am ferry on the 8th of Jan.

Excuse my ignerance but where be this calums road i keep hearing bowt??? cheers:thumb2

On the island of Raasay (near Skye) and, soon to be, in The Gambia.

A road is being built in The Gambia to link a medical centre with villages that are cut off from it during the rainy season. The charity that is funding the road was so inspired by the story of the single handed building of 'Calum's Road' on Raasay that they are naming it 'Calum's Road in The Gambia'.

We will be riding from the original road to the site of the proposed road in order to help raise funds for it.

More info. on our mini site HERE.

Wanna buy a sticker (or two)? :thumb
