    Fella,

Sounds like an amazing trip but looks like I was some what slow off the mark.
Would you be prepared to pass on your knowledge of shipping and so on? Not gonna start a rival business, very very happy (some might say job pissed) cooper. All of trips so far have been europe as sorting freight seems like a night mare, sneaking further south this year but an American trip is a long standing back burner.......

    Guys

It would seem that circumstances are conspiring to defeat this project so I'm going to have to cancel the 2010 trip for two reasons. I'm just struggling a little to getting the return shipping from Denver soreted and don't want to go off half cocked as it were. I should have this sorted early in 2011 though as I'm planning a visit there in january.

Second and more important reason is my left knee is fecked. Too many years of rowing and Rugby have finally taken their toll. I'll probably be under the knife in March and my physio went ballistic when I mentioned a nice 3 week off road bimble where standing on the pegs is the only way to ride all day. Road riding will be OK thank godness!! If all goes well, i'm sure it's do able but don't want to take a chance and let everyone down.

However, all being well, we can do it in 2012 if everyone is still keen. I'll have all the shipping details sorted by February 2011 so all should be well. Please contact me if you are still up for it

I'm still interested, 2012 may be a better option for me anyway.
Whether the 640 will survive that long is another matter.

OK, I'm back now so will sort out everything out.

Please be aware that this is not my full time thing. Everything is in place for this trip and apologies if I haven't communicated this fully.

I will place on record a full apology to Simon for not getting back to him in a timely manner. I realise that he is going on a fantastic trip and is obviously keen to firm everything up. No excuses on my part........

Chris as you have removed my posts please remove the apology its pretty pointless without the reason for it being intact on the thread and had I not posted I doubt I would have gotten one especially as your first post was pretty unrepentant, I note that you've decided to delete that as well.
