8v or 16v? Electrics (inc LCD display), plastic parts damage, wear on centre and side stand, water pump.
Loads of 2nd hand spares available.
Very heavy to push around

if it's an K100 8 valve - clutch arm seized on the rear of the gearbox- heatshield falling off the exhaust - centerstand is a hollow tube bent into shape that fills with water and rots from the inside out - seat cover tears at the front- engine smokes if parked on the side stand - engine output shaft fails (it's a two piece item), you must hear it start from cold, if it rattles for a minute or so and then goes all nice and the engine sounds perfect, it means the engine output shaft is on the way out. Can happen at any mileage- radiator fans are prone to seizing ( easy to check by bridging the fan relay) - drive shaft splines wear out, greased every 20K and they'll last the life of the bike.

K100 16 valve - one piece exhaust fractures where the downpipes enter the silencer, check the rubber exhaust mounts haven't collapsed- front floating disc bobbins wear out very fast - cams have to be removed to adjust the valve clearances, which is time consuming, consequently they often get ignored which leads to burnt out valves - radiator fans prone to seizing, and this isn't good on a 16valve as they run very hot, as you'll find out when the fan kicks in and your legs get roasted - Drive shaft splines do not wear, and the engine output shaft was modified so no problems in that area .

HI
THANKS,THIS WORKS BEEN DONE ,
rear suspension unit, recovered the seat, its had a couple of MAJOR services;(valve-gear; fuel filters, brakes, driveshaft removed and greased, battery replaced needlessly, it was a faulty lead; pannier hinges and SEALS, ECT
