    I shoulda said Yell, sorry.

Anyway go north of Mid yell on the A968
after a few miles of open moorland you come to a right hand hairpin going around Basta Voe, go round the hairpin and go on about 150 yards and look to your left.

there's an opening here that takes you down a track back towards the stream. last year there was a lot of road construction traffic here so it should be obvious.

As you go back towards the stream look to your right and you'll see the old gravel track. this goes on for about 4 miles to Cullivoe. Nice little blast.

    Klanky, Shipmate,
Sorry for the late request but can jump aboard. I know I did the route last year - but it's a bloody good one.
    Cheers

Sorry Lee, won't be able to go on this now since I probably won't make it to Ullapool before you set off, have just discovered I can't get next Friday off work.

    Gentlemen (and Ladies, of course),

Unfortunately I'm not going to make Ullapool.

I'm now severely bogged down with work and some personal stuff that needs resolving, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out as 'organiser' for the run. I could really do with someone willing to take over and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Anyone care to step into the breach? It's a question of just sorting out times and RV's to suit everyone and phoning a suitable venue to organise sarnies and coffee.

I'm really sorry to do this, I've been looking forward to GOTC for months, but it would seem that it is to go on the same scrapheap as my other planned trips this year

    Lee,
    so sorry to hear that.

I'll do it if nobody else who knows the area better wants to.

Only been up there once- ie last year.

So it may be a bit gash !!!
