Foot & Leg protector from Wunderlich

Wunderlich Foot, or Leg & Foot protectors - anyone got any?

Tired of getting wet socks from the rain-water run-off hitting my shins (from between fairing & cylinder) I've seen two potential cures from Wunderlich, each can be obtained from Nippy Normans: the Clear Foot Protector, £105; or the Leg and Foot Protector £199. Does anyone have either or any better recommendations, bar donning oversuits?

Strange, I've never had problems with water from the front, but until I fitted a mudsling the back of my legs where soaked when driving in the rain.

Soggy socks

No, it's definitely ducted or direct hit rain-water hitting my lower knee/shins and running down the inside of my leather jeans/excellent (Ride recommended) TCX boots. Help, someone!:eek

PS. Thanks for your reply but no issue with rear wheel spray.
