After a change of bike...................I set off
I took the scenic route (all 90 miles), up over the Dales via Leyburn and Swaledale in glorious sunshine
Crossing over the A66 to Barnard Castle and up into Teesdale via Stanhope
The famous ford was closed

However it was raining.....................towards Alston - luckily we weren't going that way
