I have just bought a 5 year old Serow as an import from the States. I am really pleased with the bike- it is easy to ride, and very straight forward, but has a slightly irregular tick over, and stalls occassionally. Is this usual? Some reports say they have an excellent tick over, and others say they can be difficult to start if stood for a few days. I guess 121 miles in 5 years has not helped, but I have just added another 300 in the last couple of weeks. Here are some pictures from this morning.

just needed some use!

Tick over has settled to a nice regular beat with a little use. It's just so easy to ride on unpaved roads- a real pleasure! :)

Damp wool

Thanks Hustler, that is a very useful site. I went back to the same track today, which looked very different in the soaking rain! No problem on the Serow, even the rock strewn section! I really am surprised by this little bike.
