Went out for a few hours with Jay B, John and Dave yesterday to check out Jay's route for the "less challenging" run.
The route itself looks like a cracker, focusing on the lanes surrounding the north east corner of the 'plain for most of the ride, and gives the opportunity for some stunning views, other than those of the 'plain itself.
The going on the 'plain is currently hard, fast and very dusty. It will be fine if your just pottering along, but heading towards shipton bellinger after riding the lanes behind tidworth ment gaps of 100 yards+ between bikes to allow for the dust to clear- fine with just the 4 of us, but i could be a nightmare with a big group.
Not like we were hanging around though
Bring on saturday!!!
