Places to Get Stainless Fastners

Cheers Brox. They are a husband and wife team and very knowledgable and above all very helpful.

Use HT engineering in Chessington guys.

The guy there is very helpful, very cheap and will source/make bits if it aint in his catalogue
I use copious amounts of bolts etc etc at home and work and dont use anyone else for my supplies.

Ps , ,ive no connection with the company at all.

Online ordering not too bad

I've started using http://www.inoxbolt.co.uk/ and had good service from them. Hopeless online ordering system - but if you give them a ring they are very helpful and want your business.

Tried inox bolt and they are very good for individual bits or selection boxes or even full sets. Not BMW bikes but everything else apparently.

Quick and reasonable cost. Parts look good too.

Abbots fasteners in Frome, Somerset are always very obliging and I think very reasonably priced

Whats the difference between A2 and A4 stainless steel fasteners? Just snapped an M8x70 A4 in the fork leg that holds the fork brace on. :blast Managed to get it out but I only had an M8x60 A2 to hand to put back in. Other than it's not long enough is A2 ok to use? :nenau

A2 is made from 304 grade st/st.
A4 is made from 316 grade st/st.
A4 is a better grade, but not neccessary on a motorcycle.
