That looks like a fun day's riding Jimmy.
There are two opinions of the GS. There are those who have ridden one who think its fantastic and there are those who haven't who know its crap.

Great pics, looks like a great run.
Would love to have been there but it clashed with another off road run.

We were doing some off-roading not too far from where ye were and actually bumped into a few tossers in a pub in Allihies at lunchtime.

    Next time.

Where abouts was that, and how do you find these roads / routes?

It looks within my skill level too (i.e. very little)

The gravel routes and narrow roads look great as well, the sort of places that are "almost off-road" appeal to me as they can be done two-up which is how I spend about 75% of my time, but suppose I can always tel her to bugger off for a day once in a while.

That was in County Kerry last weekend Rasher. Jimmy would know almost all of these wee roads from memory. His knowledge of little roads and tracks right across this country could be described as encyclopedic.

Been on my places to visit list for years, but never got round to it, problem with sportsbike riding, you always worry about weather etc.

Full itinerary for this year, but might be a great long weekend for next year, not so bothered about weather with the GS, just wanna keep riding the damn thing.
