bloody RTs

Rt1100

got to say had mine for 2 months now needed a few bits when i got it but what a fab machine had all the gsses but never took them off road so got the tenere for both but to do 1000 miles in a couple of days the tenere is rubbish at cruising at 85:rob
Anyhow wanted a mile muncher and this thing is supurb just do it £2k gets you a lot of machine and i have to say the 1100 really is a great engine i know you have the overdrive on the 1150 but the 1100 is so much more planted with great torque:D

Just do it chad if you dont like it after a while you wont be losing money on it:augie

Can you pls stop posting pic's of RT's as I'm starting to miss mine :)

I got given one whilst my GS was being serviced, pulled onto the A34 and was thinking not sure if i like it - engine very quiet and no wind buffetting at all, wondered why cars were moving rapidly out of the way until i looked at the speedo - friggin ell. Swiftly moved the screen down so i at least had some sense of speed. What a brill bike - thinking of getting one for my 70mile commute and keeping the GS for fun at weekends.

OK, heres mine. As i mentioned i have converted it back to a two seat bike, a couple of new bits, a few more 2nd hand bits, a bit of painting and, Voila!

2011 Twin Cam RT SE

My new one, just about ready for first service at 600 miles so we're 'bonding' :D Takes a little time to get used to after the GS, not much though as its super smooth....now tested on every road type my GS loved up this neck of the woods and its handled it all perfectly:thumb
