We actually pulled it off last year:thumb2 :beerjug:

So..............back by popular demand!

The SECOND HORIZONS UNLIMITED IRELAND meeting in

ENNISKILLEN on 27/29 May 2011.

You want to fuel that nagging dream of travelling on two wheels in Ireland, UK, Europe, Africa, South America, North America, Asia, Australia, the World? Why not come along and listen and talk to the guys and girls who have been there, done it and returned to tell the tale.

You want to meet up with like-minded dreamers who don't think you are crazy to be planning "the big trip"? People who share that dream?

You want to listen and talk to ordinary people who have done extraordinary things? Been to amazing places? Can convince you that you CAN do it too?

You want to find out what "mummers" are?

Then you should plan to be in:

ENNISKILLEN on 27/29 May 2011

The event will be at the same excellent location as last year with camping and other facilities that are second to none.

We have an ever growing list of presenters to inspire you.

JOE THE CELT (what more can I say?)

SI JOHNSTON (see above)

(the last two observations are for those fortunate enough to have caught Joe and Si last year!)

PADDY TYSON (campaign co-ordinator for MAG and author of "The Hunt for Puerto del Faglioli)

GEOFF HILL ("Way to go" , The road to Gobbler's Knob", "Around Oz on a Triumph"

OISIN HUGHES (you must have read Oisin's blog on UKGSER! Come and listen to the man himself)

DECLAN MCEVOY (An Arctic adventure)

JIM McCAUSLAND(personal safety for motorcycle travellers)

DAVE FLOOKS (Japan.Vietnam, South America)

GRANT AND SUSAN JOHNSTON (everywhere!!)

And many more yet to be advised.

If you want to know more about what happens at a Horizon Unlimited meeting check out the http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/meetings/ website.

And to be sure of a place in Enniskillen register on that site at:

http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/meetings/Ireland2011.php#registration

Numbers will be limited this year as we want to ensure the same friendly, laid-back atmosphere as last year. So get your name down now!!

yes please once the wife lets em and i buy a bike

John, you don't need to be about to set off on a trip to attend the Horizons Meeting - it's all about meeting other folks that want to do it & those that have already done it ;)

Why not bring your wife to Enniskillen with you? It will be a great weekend in the company of like-minded people. We had quite a few ladies attending last year and the meeting was all the better for it.

Still wondering about putting your name down for the HU Ireland weekend in Enniskillen on 27/29 May?

Here are a few more presenters to "bump" you!

Marc O'Loideoin (Ogmios) Marc has just set off on his "The Gambia on a Gapper" adventure ( blog details on a seperate thread) We wish him a safe and fascinating adventure. Come along to Enniskillen and be inspired by Marc's report on the journey.

Neil and Helen Laughlin Those who attended last year will remember Neil's self-built diesel bike. Presently in Katmandu having left Ireland in September 2010, they will be back in time to give a "hot of the presses" report on their trip.

There are more presenters to disclose but not just yet!!:aidan

Registered yet?? :nenau

This was great last year - only sorry I can't make it because of time constraints this year.

Highly recommended folks - the Norn iresh are VERY friendly, very bike welcomming and barking mad - what more do you want? The Causeway coast road is fantastic. Better than the big sur according to Lamble and he should know!

And MUMMERS!!! WTF is all that about??????
