Got pass for 9 days away at spring bank,:) vague plan up to Scotland ,ferry to Larne, travel through Ireland then ferry back to Wales from Rosslare.Been to Dublin,so no need to go again.Probably spend 7 nights in Ireland.Just spent couple of hours reading other posts, and made a few notes.Looking for advice on good roads/routes,places to stop B&B and camping, bars:beerjug: etc.Thanks.

Once off the ferry at Larne, follow signs for Causeway coastal route. Follow coast road up to Cushendun, then head for Torr Head, a great wee road with fantastic views. Follow this road keeping the sea on your right, and you will end up in Ballycastle, continue along the coast road for Bushmills and Portrush. lots of stop offs on this route (viewpoints, Bushmills Distillery, Ballintoy Giant's causeway).

Hopefully someone else will come on the site and take you on from Portrush
