Moto Guzzi classics

I use BT45's on my LM 1

AAMOI do you use a 110 or 120 on the back?

my convert has a 110, which must be what bridgestone recommended at the time, but my lemon has a 120 which is what their website lists now.

works great so far, but it's profile is such that it makes the stands a little short. back wheel barely clears the ground on the mainstand, and the side stand is even more precarious.

I've got a 78 LeMans II. Had it since 81. 78000 miles plus who knows how many on multiple broken speedo cables! Pretty original. I put stainless silencers on it decades ago. Sprint twin headlight handlebar fairing, still got the original one (scratched), light etc. Fitted Jota Bars onto it about 15 years ago to as my arms seemed to be getting shorter! Just a lovely bike, my first big bike... others have come and gone!

I've also got a pair of cut down leg shields I use when I fancy a change...

It's all part of the bonding process, you wouldn't want it any other way (Oh and Cookie will be getting the hump as he balanced the carbs last and he was wearing flares so that puts it in 2009)
Don't worry I'm suffering as well. I stink of stale piss4star and where as you can't stop I can't go as the calipers won't let go of the discs. Got plenty of Stuttgart dirt under the fingers today I alsocleaned it, it's an even lighter shade of pink now. Don't know whether to change the oil or put up some draylon curtains.

Some really cool looking bikes on this thread. I remember spending my Saturday mornings at sports motorcycles on Liverpool road in Manchester drooling over them in the 70s as a teenager. Never owned one as i went the Ducati path years ago.. So whats the pecking order in Guzzi world? I liked the Le Mans, and the black and white California as a youth, both based on looks, but not sure which are peaches and which are lemons. Just out of intersest it was the same sports motorcycles (Steve Wynne) that fired Mike Hailwood to his famous TT win on his return in i think 1979. Great days, lovely bikes.:D

Not a Classic , But a Class Machine. Love it

It's my old 911, owned by me for more than 11 years. Lowered widened and with 15 inch fuchs wheels, goes like shite off a shovel and with the 15 inch wheels turns into corners like a go-kart instead of the usual 911 understeer.. .

And i doubt pikey will restore it, he'll keep it faded pink. :thumb

We had a deal with pikeys 1978 california.

Great car's i think, and if you had it 11 years maybe you do as well. Is it the early 915 gearbox ? I have a bit of a thing for aircooled 911s, I drove my 3.2 down to Munich a couple of weeks ago for the Oktoberfest and to watch Man City play Bayern. Popped into Porsche at Stuttgart on the way home, some lovely stuff in the museum. I did'nt plan it but most of what i own is bloody German, Niesmann motorhome, car's and bikes. Dont know what that says about me:augie Just sold my 3.2 clubsport:(

An ever so slightly reworked 1984 SP1000
