Cheers Locky.

Looks like someone's been gunning for your V7S, Locky!

(Gorgeous bike, BTW, and one of the few left on my wants list).

It's my old 911, owned by me for more than 11 years. Lowered widened and with 15 inch fuchs wheels, goes like shite off a shovel and with the 15 inch wheels turns into corners like a go-kart instead of the usual 911 understeer.. .

And i doubt pikey will restore it, he'll keep it faded pink. :thumb

We had a deal with pikeys 1978 california.

Up & running, staying faded for now.

Think I may start looking for an old Guzzi next year to sit along side the trail bike.

I think these two are my favourite Guzzi's so far.

I had my first guzzi when i was in my early 20's and i used to thrash the bollocks off it - so much so that it threw a rod and destroyed the engine.

I rebuilt it with a used 850 c'case bored out to take spada 100 barrels and pistons, LM heads and std 850 carbs running K&N's.

I then stuck the same pair of silencers as this guy has - tulip end mufflers ( goldies ) and it sounded absolutely gorgeous - just like this

Great thread folks! Here's my cali I finished restoring earlier this year. I also own a mk2 lemans 850 and zigolo110. Both under restoration at the minute.

Some folks will think you put Convert bars on, or turned a V1000G5 into a T3 Cali.
Just sayin...

True, but to be honest I dont worry too much about purists or bolt counters. The crash bars on the convert are the same as those used on the California anyway. I bought these bars on ebay as they were missing on my own and came with the aerofoils. I thought they looked nice so left them on. The paint scheme on this bike is not t3 cali either, but used on the lapd convert..Looks far better imo. I also painted the plastic panniers and threw on a couple of eagles(not standard either) Its my bike, and just a bit different. The lemans II I'm working on at the minute wont be standard either but will have a mark 1 cowl and dash, corbin seat and a few other 'upgrades':aidan
