Some German fella has found a new way to mount extra lights. I haven't seen this before - certainly different. Oh and he's selling them on ebay.... here

I have seen it before, it's not that new.

Must be great to have your lights vibrate with the engine and collect every bit of crap on the road

Not to mention going through a rut off-road...

Yeah ....kind of what I was thinking . I can't imagine a more vulnerable place to mount some lights !!

Grinding..

I have a set of them mudgaurds.. managed to grind the left hand one down a bit on the bends., wouldnt want my lights down there too..

You guys are right too, i think they would collect a lot of crud and get hit by debris etc.

I vote for Migsel bar... keeps em up out of the way and looks good.
