saw this in today's Irish Times.
Greencastle to Magilligan ferry is to be suspended from close of business on Sunday , October 2nd.
Might be a excuse for some to have run up for one last crossing.
It may recommence operations early in 2012.

Perhaps the Cork to Gijon ferry also will start at that time.

They usually put the small Swilly boat on over the winter to save costs. I am a regular user of the service as Donegal is my favourite playground. Used it just last week too, nothing then to say it was stopping. :blast
