Lovely old British film, commentated by Stuart Hall
I remember the Trial, organised by the Wetherby Club.... but never seen the film
The Trial was the first of its kind, a ride for a win and prizemoney with no Championship points at stake, it was sponsored by Allan Jefferies Motorcycles (so something for the BMW fans)
The best of the best won the Trial that day, in a entry of the World's top riders, including some roadrace & TT stars
All my childhood heroes were riding and it's a lovely piece of footage
1975 World Champion, Mart Lampkin won from the front....................some had travelled 1000's of miles, he'd only trundled up the Moors 20 miles from home
25 mins of classic twinshock trials action
