Phil Banks New Independent BMW Specialist In South London

Hi Folks,just thought i'd post a new thread to help advertise and promote a New Independent Factory Trained BMW Specialist in South London. Many of you will already know,but for those of you who don't,as of 14.11.11 Phil Banks is now no longer with Chandler's of Portslade,Brighton.Phil has gone into business with Nigel at Allbikes,Whiteleaf,near Caterham.They intend shortly to move into larger premises,and intend greatly expanding the already very successful business.Phil is a well known and highly respected BMW technician,many of you will know him from SLM Caterham,Cooper's Tunbridge Wells and latterly Chandler's.For those of you who know me,i am a perfectionist at heart,and am anally fussy about who services my bikes,with only two technicians here in the south east(as yet) meeting my very high level of expectation when it comes to BMW bike servicing work,Phil being one,the other whose name i won't mention, T.C. Phil has been doing service work for me for the last 7years on old style K1200GT's,R1150GSA's, lately K1300S and currently R1200GSA.I honestly can't recommend Phil's skill,knowledge and expertise highly enough,coupled with his "always available" attitude for on the spot help and advice.Many of my friends use him and they too are always very happy with the quality of work,attention to detail and thorough professionalism demonstrated every time.The services Phil and Nigel will be offering,will be servicing and tyres for any type of bike,specialist rebuilds,repairs,fitting of luggage, accessories etc. and MOT's for "ALLBIKES" with Phil devoting his time predominantly to Specialist BMW Work to factory spec's and standards,at prices considerably less than main dealers.He has already invested heavily in full diagnostic equipment and an impressive compliment of BMW specialist tools.Phil can be contacted on 07925 554305 Small businesses need all the help they can get these days,so vote with your feet and your wallets folks.All the very best and good luck with your new venture Phil.Count me onboard.

You really can't fault phil for his hard, keen, inspired workmanship and love for bikes...especially BMW bikes. Sadly phil left Chandlers BMW but on the up he and Nigel found one another and are already starting a very successful and fast business offering every kind of service they can and make everything possible, even affordable! Always on call to answer any questions and offer solutions! Phil is a real top honest and genuine bloke being upfront about everything!

Owning a bmw r1200gsa 30 year anni I have always made sure when taking my bike to BMW that Phil was the main mechanic to do all of the work and extras needed to my bike. I would always drop my bike off, watch it go in and when it came out the bike looked and felt like i've just bought a new adventure!

I have had a few favours done by Phil always out of hours **BIKE RELATED** (Before people jump on the band wagon) where i've turnt up with the bike, part ready available by phil and he has fitted it there and then at a 1/3 of the price that BMW would charge for the part and labour together!

Can't recommend him and his services enough!!

I will definitely be taking my bike to phil instead of ANY bmw dealer thats for sure!!

All booked up with Phil for a new clutch cable and set of pilot road 3's...one phone call, time and date convenient for me...

Workshop opening day

Thanks for the comments guys, You are correct it is wary times to start a new business but I think from working in BMW dealerships for over fourteen years I think I know what a genuine motorcycle customer requires from a workshop.
