oes anybody know where I can get gaskets to repair a leaking fuel tap from - the damn internet is proving useless as usual.

What kind if bike?
What kind of fuel tap?
What kind of gasket?

Come on fella giz a clue

If you're sure its the gasket you can easily make your own.
Look on google for 'gasket material' and get some that's fuel resistant.

I have some kicking around. As its Christmas, If you PM me your address I might just tear a bit off and send it you.

if it's around the threads where it screws on - plumbers PTFE tape around the thread works. :thumb2

Good Luck

Could I respectfully suggest that if using PTFE that you use the sort on a yellow spool. It's gas & fuel resistant. The ordinary stuff (none yellow spool) turns to Jiz in the presence of fuel.

oh. Ta - though i've used the white spooled stuff, i never knew that. :thumb

As far as I know, there's not much chemically different between the two - just thickness and quality. If you get good quality plumbers PTFE tape it'll probably be just as good as gas tape.

Bike is a 450 EXC 2006
Normal on/off/reserve tap on a 13 ltr tank
Leaks when on and reserve so I think it is the gasket directly behind the tap, going to wash it all out and hope it is just dirt and if not try to find a new O -ring or something.
