Classic Bikes

Very little work this winter's meant it's up for sale soon:tears

Think very hard first Tim!
I did exactly that a couple of years ago in Jan when it was freezing its knackers off and I hadn't earned anything in over a month ....... Only for the phone to start ringing as soon as it went! :blast

Hi timolgra,
Amazing dream bike!! What's the exact model? Any other mods apart from the solo seat?
Cheers

Loads of mods if you compare it to a TR7 Tiger which is what it was built from.

Stainless wheels, spokes, mudguards etc.
TR6 high level exhaust, (sounds orgasmic)
TR6/T120 (?) fuel tank with great custom paint job
Many other new parts fitted from older Triumph models such as rear light, headlight and standard warning lights with plastic mounts all removed.
US wide high bars.
Oil pressure guage
Rear brake relocated to over the swing arm
Electronic ignition
Longer Hagon shocks
Stainless, braided brake hoses.
Powder coated frame and rack.

Not changed for a Mikuni carb as I wanted to keep a more authentic 'look', but the old style Amal concentric works very well.

Custom built:
metal side panels with Dzus fasteners, mudguard stays, exhaust heat shields, the rear rack is a direct copy of the Great Escape bike.
Bash plate, Headlight stone guard.

Rearranged under the seat.

The engine and gearbox had a total rebuild with new barrels, pistons, valves, bearings etc. etc.

The bike was built by a professional Custom builder, so is a 'one off' taking inspiration from the Scramblers, TR6 and McQueen's bike etc.

In my opinion and many who've seen and appreciate them, this bike is far more 'Triumph' than anything ever produced (in a good way!!)....if that makes sense:D

There'll be a few other modifications that I may have overlooked as well.:)

So it goes from something like this:

Take some ideas from this.

Both nice bits of Brit iron.
