leaving the shell garage on the a56 by junction 7 of the M60 at 9. clitheroe services on the a59 at 10.15.

Could well be interested. What do you mean by clitheroe services? Is it the McDonald's and Co op just outside clitheroe on the roundabout/ dual carriage way bit?

Whereabouts in north Yorks you thinking of going?

yep.. the McD's/Coop petrol station.

just a trip to settle, hawes, sedburgh, devils, caton. not too far as we've got 40 or so miles either side.

Got a NIP today for tripping the camera just after BAE on the A59, 36 in a 30 on the way to meet at clitheroe. apparently it's the most prolific camera in lancs. Not been that way for a while and can't remember the limit change from 40 to 30. Loads of people have been nicked by it.

Just a word of warning if we use clitheroe services again......

For future reference, Clitheroe Services is about 4p per litre more expensive than most and about 9p a litre more than Asda, so I'd plan on filling up elsewhere.
