John Deere use the auxillary sockets as fitted to the GS's on their tractors. The plug (male end) is better made, has a right angle in it, better for most applications I reckon, 'cos it don't stick out as much AND it comes with an adapter to fit a car ciggie lighter socket!
It costs a staggering £3.81 inc vat

Part No. is JW-DP252

Hi Paul,
I need a male 12v socket to charge my phone, so took your advice and phoned the local John Deere tractor outlet. Unfortunatly they can't find that part number anywhere. Any chance you could recheck please?

Bill,

Just tell them you want an auxillary socket male or female the type that are fitted to the '50 Series Tractors'

Try also these part numbers:-

Female socket: MG82002966
Female socket: AL25073
Male plug: RE11344

If all else fails Email Ian Underwood, he recently brought Three he was so impressed with them :)
