If you don't know any companies there, use Dave Berghoff of Stantours. Very helpful and it used to be $100 for the letter.

I used these guys really easy, they did the lot all you've got to do fill in the form, add a few pictures and pay and it's done ever so quick as turn arounds go....

We used The Russia House. Their rates seem quite reasonable for the single trip tourist visa.
