I'm pretty sure no-one will be interested, but me and Mr K will be attending the Beer Festival at The Blue Dog Inn, Sewstern (9-miles east of Melton Mowbray, 10-miles south of Grantham).
It's a proper small, friendly "village local" and they have about 30-beers in a marquee outside. Camping is in a field behind the village hall, just across the road, and they leave the pub toilets open for us to use during the night.
On Saturday night, they have a band.. 2-years ago, it was "The Moonlight Shadows", average age 97, but they were fantastic... shut your eyes and you were back in the 60's. Last year was a "sort of" Irish folk-rock band.. I have no idea what this year will bring, but it'll be good... as long as you've supped enough
So, if you're at a loose end on Saturday night... come along and join us... we can have a pint and talk bollocks
Ooops... 2nd June
