The first batch of my 'Hoof' have been completed and are ready to go!

These sidestand pads have been designed around, and fit, the twin cam model GS/GSA.

I haven't been able to check sidestands of other models yet but if anyone is aware of the twin cam sidestand footprint being identical to earlier models then this will fit those bikes too.

I am selling these for £20.00 each + £2.00 p&p = Total £22.00

There are only 11 left at present after a number of these were purchased by PM comms here, on UKGSer.com

Benefits of The 'Hoof'

1) Increases the stock sidestand footprint considerably.
2) Reduces the angle of lean, thereby reducing the loading on the stand.
3) Makes 'righting' the bike much easier, especially noticeable when touring.
4) Permanently fitted thereby keeping pockets free from separate pucks
and lanyards!

The 'Hoof' is made from a good quality nylon grade with aluminium clamps and 4off M5 st/steel csk Allen head fasteners.

Any further interest please PM me and I will update this thread as and when with quantities available.

Thanks.

Installation Instructions (Print out for quick reference) :beerjug:

1) Disassemble the Hoof completely.
2) Off the base to the sidestand foot.
3) Place one clamp into position and insert 2 x M5 CSK screws.
4) Place second clamp into position and insert screws.
5) Support the base and finger tighten the CSK screws.
6) Tighten the screws in a diagonal fashion - Do NOT Over Tighten!

Got back to work today after 4 days in Germany on my TLS and had a nice little package waiting for me. Can't wait to get home fit it. Looks really good and if the bike stands a bit more upright now it'll be better in the shed.
Many thanks.
Garry.

Lucky you Garry , if only I could get mine in the shed!

It should certainly help in a confined space although there is a limit of course to much more upright the bike could be before it became a wind magnet and blew over on the wrong side. :eek
