Is the pink lady all together now

Do you mean Pink Lady or Pink Lady's bike?:D

I had a lot of help over the weekend on the old Pink Lady bike that we now call Trigger. We kept finding yet more issues with it such as a twisted frame but that was eventually sorted out. Big thanks to Paul Wong, Abrasion, Peter Tibbs and many others who spent hours working on it.

The new Pink Lady bike basically just needed cosmetic work. Again various people helped all weekend. After everyone had left today, I attacked this bike with renewed enthusiasm thanks to the motivation given to me this weekend. So this afternoon, I have refitted the rear shocked after refurbishing them. Rear wheel back in again after total refurbishment. Both exhaust silencers fitted. The beautifully painted tank has gone on and the bike looked fantastic:)

Not very much left to do now. Just need to get some fresh petrol in a can and a few minor tweeks and it should all be together.

Unfortunately, the rain has even hit Devon and its not nice now. I'll try to get some photos as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, I have half a keg of Piston Bitter that I have to drink before it goes off.:beerjug::beer:

I spent hours today working on PinkLady (the bike, not the wife:D).

Fitted the beautiful pornstar pink tank and half filled it with petrol. It pissed out fuel from a large hole near the fuel filler. We rapidly removed the tank and drained the fuel out. I mixed up some liquid metal and rubbed down the tank to take it.

Hours later we refitted the tank and made sure everything was sorted and hit the starter button. After about two minutes of rough running it settled down to a nice even tickover.:)

It was fantastic.:) Bike was perfect:D I undid the straps and eased the bike off the ramp. Into first gear and it drove away perfectly. Front tyre was a bit flat but I wasn't going to let that spoil the initial ride. Steering was slow with flat front but amazed at smooth running.:).

Jumped off bike and insisted that Pinklady got on board.:)

She is uploading pics and video to her Youtube so she can post next bit..

Thanks to Syco for paintwork and everyone who helped at Weekends.:D

Love you all lots :clap:clap:clap

Thanks to my other half for the final stages xx

Well you have been a busy chappy Sid. Hopefully we'll have the Black 'Un running a bit more convincingly this week too. I've sussed the wiring tweaks it needs for the lights, just need the time to get to grips with it. I'll see you wed or thurs.
Pete
