Sat Nav is for wimps - using a 1765 map

I have been using a map produced by a man called Benjamin Donn in 1765 to explore some of the old main roads of Devon. The quality of the download version is very good. These are often now little used minor roads and make a great ride out. So far I've explored the 1765 main routes between Bideford, Barnstaple and Great Torrington and will do a few more over the next few months. Perhaps it may be worth an organised ride in September (when the sun comes back)? I'll post a notice of such nearer the time.
