Which Modern bikes will become Classics?

The R Nine T is a reliable as a stone axe !
Already a classic right from the get go while still in production because there is and there will be nothing like it...especially when the arseys in russels will kill powerful and decent sounding aircooled engines starting in 2020 with their stupid EU-5 regulations...
Hopefully the EU will be gone before...:thumb

My thoughts on triumph sprints and vfr hondas,
They will be much like CX500’s
Nobody will pay strong money now so not much will change.
If an investment is what you are looking for,you need to invest in rarity or desirability.
For instance, paralever GS airheads are catching up with the more desirable monos etc
A restored para can achieve £10 k
That’s not a basic or kalahari,a standard para(restored)

These two are in with a good shout

Some lovely 916’s at Stafford Classic Bike show . I agree the 916 and lowly Monster 600 rescued Ducati from the mediocrity of other Italian bike manufacturers MV Moto Morini ect and enabled them to be her today with the sublime V4 Pani.

An 888 SP5 … one of only 16 officially brought in to the UK (Note MPH Speedo) :augie

An unmolested two owner bike :D

I still go with my prediction of many posts ago ....

Nothing has changed ... in fact I'm more convinced than ever :thumb

A future classic for sure ...

Paul thats a stunner you will be ending up with more classics than Sammy Miller or David Silver at this rate!

Picked it up last night and have just booked it in for recommissioning and a full shim & cambelt service at my local Ducati dealer

Cheers Steve ;)

I sold Kenny's old Z13 to a guy who had just had his Z13 stolen. Then I noticed that SWMBO had left a Poggenpohl kitchen brochure on the coffee table (presumably as a hint?) so I spent the money quick :D

As Att would say carefully take the Poggenpohl brochure to the garden and Burn it with Fire! Good to see you handing the belt service over to a specialist, good call. What a bike to ride around the local lanes the bellow of those zorsts

Currently being heavily discounted by my local dealer.......

I think that is a great price considering it is from a dealer! That bike looks like the cleanest 1100GS I have ever seen. Never mind the classic status......that is a great bike at a great price in my opinion.

I'd agree, the bloody thing's not even run in yet!
