With the best day of July promised, with warmish sun and no rain forecast
It was time for a bimble, yeehaa
The 650 needed an outing
The Dales looked glorious, so an easy choice - so it was up to Masham, a short 6 mile blast from home
Stunning view from Ellingstring Bank across towards the Hambleton Hills of the North Yorkshire Moors
Typical Dales village - this is the green @ East Witton
Ahh.................Dales National Park, one of the country's finest
Typical Dales scene in summer, freshly mown grass for silage, with an old stone barn in the corner
Colsterdale
Upper Wharfedale
Time for tea..................one of my fave haunts @ Kettlewell
View from the table
After Kettlewell, it was up to Buckden and over Oughtershaw towards Cam Head - one of the highest roads in the Dales @ 1800ft
Beautiful skies looking over towards Semerwater and Bainbridge
Dropping down into Gayle, there was plenty of water at the Mill
Finishing off in Hawes, I bumped into Mike R of this parish and we had a good natter for an hour - great to see you again
Home for tea, via Wensleydale..................Gromit
