I was lucky enough to be on the launch as Team for the New BMW E Scooter this last 5 days , escorting Journalists from anary warf to Biggin Hill where they rode the E Scoots . I was given a nice Triple Black GSA :)D) to use and all new BMW Kit to use ( had to give that back:comfort)

The Feedback for the E was great , but at £400000 per prototype I did not get a go on one of those !!

The C600 + GT's are Fantastic though , Fast and Urgent in their take off with ABS and all the Toys . Faster than my T Max and they Rasp nicely . Ok not cheap but a lot of fun and the French , Italian and spanish Journo's loved them and pushed them hard

Expect a demo soon as the scoots we used will I geuss be going to dealers as demos after the olympics . VVV impressed !!:thumb2

i could but I'd have to kill you :D it was to do with the eathquake in Italy destroying a factory which was supplying components for the final drive . They had to rebuild the factory !!

Build Quality is good and robust and the day Running lights look very cool . Nice in Blue :thumb2

The version I heard was a bit different for to that and looks like you got the 'economical' version:augie

Looks very smart.

Will be following the reports with interest.

Would suit your needs for work & business I would have thought Dave, I like the idea of a super scoot but don't currently have a use for such a thing.

Be perfect for my everyday business needs :thumb2 my only worry would be that it would come off worse when cars and buses are trying to bounce me off the road.

I was told that by one of the German Journalists , It looks well put together , good panels not flimsey , there was word of cheap looking plastics , was that it? It compares well to a Mk 3 T Max , and better than a Mk 4 T max which has some poor plastics on the glove box and petrol cap flap . The outsourced engine is great and Rapid . I'd ditch the huge exaust collector and put a full akro on it and it would be awesome . Uk Soft launch is Soon with UK press . BMW are in the UK for the Entire Olympics +Paralympics so expect to see a lot of coverage:thumb2

They are being released on the 1st of September so go have a go !!! Still Can't make up my mind as my White T Max + Akro is a beauty , but it might be the only bike I need , so away would go the T Max and the GSA. Will let you know once I've tried one in my home environment :thumb2

No they are not , (Super Scoots )they are THE NEXT BIG THING !!!

They are as good off road as most GSA's used in this country :augie

BMW Park Lane had a couple of the electric scoots in, too.

110 mph and silent.....

No licence required as the vehicle has no cubic capacity.....

I guess so.

I didn't see them, only heard about them from the bods at Park Lane this morning. They had several bits of totty from BMW's press liaison crew zipping around on them.

PS I hear that most of the BMW cars used for the Olympics now have assorted dents and many are missing wing mirrors.... Sounds like my old company car....

I heard BMW supplied 3000 Cars for the Olympics , they'll be like the ORS bikes come sale time :D

Saw the C600 sport + GT650 in Chandlers today dropping my GSA off for a service . Very nice in Silver . Test rides from 1st September . Reckon I'll get one :thumb2
