21 Dales Ride - Sunday 19th Aug

The long awaited 21 Dales ride is planned for Sunday 19th August 2012.

See attached Garmin GPS Route.

We plan to be in Masham Square for Breakfast at 9:00am, leaving at 9:30am.

We will have already done the section from Grassington to Masham, so we will be leaving the ride at Grassington on the return leg, everybody is welcome to join and leave at there preferred point, just let us know on the day to avoid any confusion.

We will be leaving Keighley McDonalds Car Park, at 7:30am.

Total route mileage approx 178 Miles.

Phil,

Where are you joining the route?

Masham Postcode is HG4 4DZ Co-Ords are 54.221878,-1.655685 (I think)

Keighley Postcode is BD21 3LX Co-ords are 53.874607,-1.90391 (I Think)

Not sure about the co-ordinates.

Damn, would love to join you on this but there's a big VW (one of my other passions in life!!) show at harewood that i'm at all weekend.

if we are to get to masham for 0900, we would want to be leaving thirsk at around 0815, 0830, its around 30 minutes from thirsk to masham
 
I am going to try and go on this

Will ride up from Doncaster to Ripon then on to Masham

If any one else is going from this area we could go up together
 
If the weather is reasonable I'll be in Keighley for the start.

Which way will the route be going, and would it be possible to join at the CB Inn or Tan Hill ?

Steve,

Route from Masham to Leyburn to Reeth, then onto Tan Hill, leaving Masham 9:30am.

Not sure where CB Inn is. Just remembered where it is....

You can join where ever suits you.

We will probably stop at Tan Hill for Coffee and Photo's.

Not sure of timing, I will have look at the route tomorrow and try to post a rough schedule.
