1400 GTR

Bamboo as fecking well :thumb

Greenhouse is history though... concrete base awaiting my gucci shed's arrival :Motomartin

I've got a set of those hippy windchimes ..... all the way from Disney's Animal Kingdom ...

Nice GTR to, and the wee DAB radio is a damn fine idea.

Glad you're bonding with it Bryn.
Got my 1200 adv and glad to be back with bmw....
Recovered on 1st day of ownership...
Good to be part of the family and meet nice recovery people again
Who needs Japanese reliability. ...

Ouch.... :blast Hopefully you've got the recovery thing over and done with now :rob

Meanwhile here's the Remus ... and the new seat as well.....:)

The Remus must be 6" shorter and half the weight of the original bazooka ...

Lovely remus. Like the hex shape

I guess that seat is lower?

You haven't been twisting the throttle enough or you've already put new rubber on ;-)

The seat is about the same I think.... looks like a good quality bit of kit . Not had chance to put any miles on it with the new seat or exhaust yet....

And only about 750 miles on the bike since I got it.... so the tyres are still like new :augie

That Remus looks really good, much better than the standard monstrosity :thumb2

Nice new can :thumb2

What are the pr3's like? apparently like rocking horse shit to get hold of in certain sizes at the moment.

Remus isn't that much louder than standard... deeper perhaps :)

PR3's pretty good.... they're allegedly the best tyres for the GTR... haven't really had the chance to test them properly yet though :Motomartin

Great bike

missing mine a lot. :tears

You could always pick up another one :augie

Hi all:

I had no idea there was a GTR1400 section here Bryn. :beerjug:

Yep... got mine delivered yesterday and it's pissed it down non-stop since.

This is Tessie a 2011 Black GTR1400 with 27k miles... got some lovely farkles enroute (Beowulf exhaust, Givi E55 Maxia 3 Tech Top Case, 2" Helibar Risers & Garmin Mount). Hopefully we'll get some better weather by the time they arrive.

Keeping the F800GS... we've been through too much to sell. In fact she's also being tarted up, two rough winters have taken a heavy toll - new bolts, powder coating & deep clean.
