81000 miles and still ticking quietly away

1992 K1100LT. What we guitarists call "road worn". This has been my winter bike and after a lot of initial fannying about due to having been sat in a garage for a couple of years ( brakes seized so shot blasted, all new seals etc, new custom made hoses, ABS removed and binned, new fan, replacement exhaust and a host of other odds and sods like a new Hagon shock and HyperPro progressive fork springs) it's now a comfortable and so-easy to ride bike. Looks like shite but who cares?

How the blazes do I rotate the photo please?

Beautiful, just like my old one years ago. Great bikes.

My first reaction to photo was "such good condition". Lovely colour too. I still miss my K11RS. I still fancy a K75S.

Re. photos. Open it in a suitable app e.g. Windows Photos or whatever appears if you select Open . There will be a rotate function. On a phone it should be similar
Sometimes just saving them again cures the problem.

My new to me 1993 K1100RS

I’m a big fan of the old flying brick engines and I’ve had numerous K75 , K100 , K1100 and K1200 variants but never had the K1100RS

Picked this up a couple of weeks back and it’s had my usual treatment

2023 version K1600 GT LE with the trick wheels

Lovely bike and very nice wheels but at £26K it's more than 10 times the price I paid for the K1100RS !

I had a 2014 K1600GT SE and did some long distance two up touring round Europe on it and what a fantastic bike it was ;-)

Had one of these in my garage the last 3 months or so.
looking forward to the spring.

I have a failed left hand heated grip on my K75. Before I buy a set of Oxford heated grips could anyone
offer some advice of how to repair the original one. I've lifted the petrol tank and can't see anything
obvious re the wiring. Thanks.
