Can't remember on these if the bottom shock mount is welded to the swing arm now KTM own them ( i should know 2 mates have 300's) if they are then get the shock piston and spring shortened.
If it's done on linkages just change the dog arms

250TE in USA has a factory-low option, have a look at the parts fiche and see if the parts can be ordered in UK/Europe....
