I've got an old 850 T3 languishing in my Dad's garage and he's looking for me to have it back but unfortunately I don't really have the room or time to convert it in to a Cafe Racer (which was my original thought) so was now thinking about flogging it on. I'm getting mixed meassages as to its true value so I'm throwing it out to the UKGSer massive to give me some guidance and thoughts on price and as to wether or not e-bay is the best way to go?

The things I'm aware of:

It's done 54,382 miles
It's fitted with Busso silencers and the left one has rotted through on the cone end but it's cosmetic and it doesn't blow
One of the rear wheel spokes is bent very close to the nipple end but the wheel is solid with no loose spokes
The rims are Borrani
It's an 'S' Reg so 77/78
It has no indicators but doesn't officially need them
It's had a brand new battery fitted and has been recomissioned i.e. all
the oils/fluids replaced and bores checked before running up
It's been off the road since 1997 and is currently on SORN
It does not have an MOT but I would be very surprised if it didn't sail straight through with maybe an advisory on the exhaust and bent spoke?
The rear mudguard has cracked but has been welded up etc

All pearls of wisdom gratefull received :thumb2

I'll give you 5 , no 6 , no £700 for it. :thumb2

(See what I did there?)

Sorry but I don't have the 2K to put in front of it. :nenau

It would be a real shame to cafe race this bike though.

Guzzi values are going one way at the moment so ebay must be your best bet.
I reckon between 2 and 3k. Put it on as a classified ad at £3500 with a best offer option.
Those wheels make a big difference

I'd like first dibs please, just what I was looking for.
Cheers

Just to give you an Idea .
I paid Eur800 , for an unkown condition machine , that was supposed to
be complete..

The Previous owner of my T3 decided he was going to restore it.
He started , with the electrical components , and cut every wire on the
bike , He then proceeded to Strip the Electrickery .
And then : He had enough.

So far i have the Guts of Eur1800 spent .
And a tip : The Uk guzzi parts sellers are having a laugh.
I got a real shock at the price differences between UK and Europe.
The Best " Bang for mey Buck " came from : http://www.guzzi-stephan.de/

BTW ,,, I am in the market for a Complete Electrical set up for My T3 , Everything , i think i have a Negative earth lead.
